bay of islands

Hi there, could someone tell me if the Sea Princess sails through the Bay of Islands when sailing from Auckland to Brisbane? Ta Snag

Have done 2 NZ cruises from Brisbane with Princess and don`t remember going through the Bay of Islands at all(at least not in daylight).  The only time we went to the Bay of Islands was on a round trip from Sydney on Princess when we tendered to shore.

Yes, I agree, we did Bay of Islands on Sun Princess in 2016.  It was an RT from Sydney to New Zealand cruise.  Beautiful!

She doesn't sail through Bay of Islands. It would waste fuel as it is inefficient.

We just did this cruise also in February on the Sun and the Bay of Islands was one of the ports. (Sydney to Sydney)

When Bay of Islands is your port, there are sight seeing boat tours (as shore excursions) available.
