Private-feeling Helicopter in Skagway

Hi...

Looking for recommendations for a "private-feeling" helicopter tour in Skagway.  We'll be there mid-August.  6 people, ages 5-75.  We want an experience where we're the only ones on the chopper, and we land on a hunk of ice, and the pilot/guide lets us run around, and then points out the various natural features we're seeing.  Maybe a 20 minute ride to the glacier, 20 to walk, 20 to ride back.  Bonus if they pick us up from the cruise port.

 

We don't want to add in dog-sledding stuff, btw.

Not a helicopter but try a flight over Glacier Bay with Paul from Mountain Flying service. I think his plane seats 7 so it would basically be private, on one of my flights with him we landed in a mountain pass high above Glacier Bay and got out to walk around. Lots of flight time for your $$ and spectacular scenery. You'd probably cover way more ground than in the copter.

Check out Alaska Shore Tours.  We used them for our helicopter and dog sled tour last year, but if I remember, they offered different private tours too.
