CRUIZIN SUZAN Posted April 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2004 I read on a message board somewhere that the slides onboard are only open when in port. Then I saw a scan of the Capers on Webshots and it stated that the slides are only open when at sea. Can anyone share their experiences. I would apprecaite it. This time next week- I will be at sea, at the bar, on the Conquest. Thanks for any info you can share.
CruisinTXGal Posted April 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2004 I believe the slides are open from about noon until about 5 pm on SEA days. I don't think they are open in port. I could be wrong, but it seems like this was the schedule on our cruise 2 weeks ago. HTH! Elation, here we come again! 10/17/04 Elation 3/28/

Cruisin'Susan Posted April 13, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2004 also, your little one may not be about to ride because of the height restrictions. 42" and 48". just so you know. MS.Victory 05-02-04 MS.Imagination 9-20-
jemingway Posted April 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2004 I just returned from the Imagination and the posted slide hours were 3:00pm-6:00pm on port days and 9:00am-8:00pm on sea days. Actually, it was open a little less. JV
CRUIZIN SUZAN Posted April 13, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted April 13, 2004 - thanks! I realize my little one does not make the height requirements. I was inquiring for my BIG one ( DH- 6'3" 195 lbs!)
parafire Posted April 13, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 13, 2004 On my recent Legend cruise the slides were open only in the ports. I believe the reason was that the wind was blowing at a constant 15 to 25 knots during most of the cruise. Many a hat, sunvisor and S & S receipt blew overboard. Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted April 13, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 13, 2004 On our last cruise the slide was open while in port AND days at sea! But was closed anytime the wind was high (which was often). cheryl Sensation - July 1st, 2004 Legend - THANKSGIVING - Nov. 19th, 2004 Miracle Spring Break, March 20th, 2005 MIRACLE.......3/05 LEGEND.......11/04 SENSATION.....7/04 GLORY.........3/04 SENSATION.....1/04 SENSATION....10/03 GLORY.........7/03 SENSATION.....7/03 INSPIRATION..11/02 PRIDE.........7/02 FANTASY......10/01 FANTASY......10/00 FANTASY.......8/00 SENSATION.....6/00 DOLPHIN IV....3/00 FANTASY.......9/
