Transfer from Le Havre to Paris Airport

Any suggestions on transfers from cruise port of Le Havre to Paris Airport?

If we were in the OP's situation we would simply rent a car from either Europcar or Enterprise and drive ourselves to the airport.  Those two rental car companies do not generally charge a one-way fee for that routing.  A one-day rental car should cost less than $150 (you might find a car for about $100) and the drive is less than 3 hours to CDG (longer if you are going to Orly).  

 

Otherwise you might try to find 1 or 2 other couples (use the CC Roll Call) that might want to share a private transfer which yo can arrange online.   It is possible to do it all by train (and RER) but that would be a real pain in the behind, take too darn long, and involve at least one change.  Using trains are a great option if you plan on spending at least 1 night in Paris...but not so good for a direct transfer.

 

One other possibility is that your cruise ship will offer some kind of transfer (check the tour options).

Well, no given that they are over 40kms apart. Orly is south of Paris and CDG north-west of Paris. I would second Hank's suggestion to rent a car and drive as neither are particularly straightforward on public transport. But you DO need to know which airport!!!

If you do decide to do a one way rental from Le Havre to Roissy CDG, you also need to know which terminal your onward flight leaves from. Hertz for instance has 4 different locations at Terminals 1 and 2.

Another great option would be to take the Flixbus directly from the Le Havre train station (gare) to the bus station at CDG. From there, you can take the free airport tram to any terminal you like. The only downfall is that they only run a couple of these busses a day and you must book in advance. However, it takes you directly from point A to point B and if you book in advance, the tickets can be very cheap (about 10 euros!)

 

You don't need to be able to speak much French to take this bus. You would have to make your way from the port to the terminal (probably best by taxi), but the bus terminal is small enough that you can see which bus is yours. From there, you load your luggage into the bus, show your driver your ticket, and you're on your way. It's about 2 and a half to 3 hours dependent on traffic, but usually Flixbus is very good about getting you there in the estimated time or even earlier.

That Flixbus service looks like a great option.  We did not even know it existed (not sure it did exist the last time we went from Le Havre to CDG) but it is something we would consider in the future.  Hard to beat the price and the schedule options work fine for disembarkation.   The biggest hassle could be getting a taxi to do the short haul from ship to bus terminal, but that is usually handled by giving yourself some extra time.

When we have disembarked in Le Havre (3 times) it was never the beginning or end of the cruise but always the last port prior to the cruise ending at a port in England or Holland.  It has been pretty common, for many years, for some cruisers to do an early disembarkation in Le Havre on that type of cruise.  So in our cases, disembarkation was very simple since there were usually fewer then 100 passengers involved.  Once the ship was cleared (early in the morning) we could simply walk off whenever we pleased and our luggage was waiting for us in the small terminal.  We never had to go through any kind of immigration or customs procedure, but I recall it was never our first Schengen (EU) port of call.

Flixbus worked perfectly for us, however, based on our departure time from CDG, we spent the night at a hotel in Le Havre and woke early to take the bus to the airport. It was also worth the extra couple of dollars to reserve our seats on the front of the bus.
