Nccruiser01 Posted April 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2019 I originally posted this on the RCCL forum and someone suggested I check here. My husband and I are newly certified divers and are interested in a Cocoa Cay/Nassau cruise on the Mariner this fall. I thought I had read somewhere that RCCL had age restrictions (no one over 60?) for their dives. I looked at the website and it doesn't state this for either of these ports. We are aware that there are limitations for medical reasons, but has anyone ever been denied a dive based on age?
Capt_BJ Posted April 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2019 suggest you carry the medical form PADI uses, completed and signed by doctor ..... I have seen this pop up from time to time but never experienced myself . . . I suspect it is more 'operator driven' versus a cruise line thing. And probably insurance driven at that. mac66 Posted April 30, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2019 I booked a dive through the ship at Coco Cay. No problem, I'm 64. Never heard of an age restriction.
