MMJJCREW Posted January 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2006 Who gets to enjoy the debarkation lounge? We are staying in a Suite on the Golden, will we be able to take advantage of this?
Another Cruise Posted January 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2006 We had to show our Platinum room key as we entered the lounge area to wait. The room was packed.
irvjacque Posted January 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2006 I believe full suite guests are also included in the lounge entry list. Irv

Kallen Posted January 24, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2006 And if you're sharing a cabin with a Platinum passenger, can you go in with them?
Pam in CA Posted January 24, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2006 And if you're sharing a cabin with a Platinum passenger, can you go in with them?Yes. Also anyone else traveling together. Depending on the cruise, the disembarkation lounge can be packed so make sure you pick an alternate spot to hang out in case it is.
Kaye from Chicagoland Posted January 24, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 24, 2006 We are just recently off the Golden - Platinum - and we were sent to the Wheelhouse lounge for debarkation. It was not crowded on this particular criuse - juice, coffee, and pastries were available. Enjoy your cruise! Kaye
Times Prince Posted January 25, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 25, 2006 If you debarkation time allows, go to the main dining room for breakfast after leaving your cabin. Relax over breakfast and then if you still have time, go to the Wheelhouse. We found that by doing this we missed the crowding in the Platinum lounge to a large extent. Also it is so much more relaxing to enjoy a good breakfast rather than finding a place in the many hallways etc. Kudos to Princess for the Island Princess design, where the Wheelhouse bar is big enough to accomodate the growing number of platinum and elite passengers. Kaye from Chicagoland Posted January 25, 2006 #9 Share Posted January 25, 2006 Yes! Times Prince, Our room steward allowed us to leave our carry-ons in the cabin while we enjoyed breakfast. We went back to pick them up after and went to the Wheelhouse. It was a very relaxing wait as our color - Pink - was not called until about 10:00 a.m. Kaye
