Tipping on a private Whale watching tour?

We have booked a private whale watching tour for our cruise.  The 6 of us will have the boat to ourselves.  What is the standard tip for a tour?  We are paying 900 for the 4 hour excursion all together.  I don't want to under tip but I also don't want to over tip, just checking to see what the tipping guideline is for this.

It depends on how well they take care of you.  With that said, I generally go about 10%.  So, in your case, I would tip $100.

For tours and things in general I usually do anywhere from $5-20 per person. Depends a lot on how much personal attention you get. For a private tour obviously toward the higher end.
