ALASKA TOURS IN PORT

First time to Alaska, would it easy to get tours when we land in port ( Junea, Skagway and Ketchikan) or book before hand

 

Are there lots of vendors selling tour.

 

Advice would be appreciated

A quick search of the board would reveal this asked frequently. Commonly, each port has a sales desk/kiosk at the port. However, first, quantity of tour vendors (and openings, like helicopters) is not infinite at these ports, so everything may not be available, and secondly, most have reported prices to be very similar to if you booked in advance.
