RIO DE JANEIRO CARNIVAL

We are looking at the Celebrity Eclipse next February that has two nights docked in Rio during the the Carnival period.

Has anyone experienced the Sambadrome by taking ships tour, any idea of the cost and was it worth it?

Private tours are another option, but as it does not start until 10.30pm and runs until 4.30am we are hesitant to be in the streets of Rio without the relative safety of a ships tour.

Go to https://www.dobrazilright.com/rio-carnival-tickets/ and read all the info which explains how it all works.  We used them for a three day tour and for tickets and transport to Carnival.  They do a great job.  it is a massive event and very organised. They were much cheaper than the ship (Celebrity) and easy to deal with.   https://www.dobrazilright.com/product/2020-rio-carnival-3-day-private-tour-celebrity-eclipse/
