Elephant1151 Posted May 20, 2019 #26 Share Posted May 20, 2019 If you find a particular brand you like and the fit is good the why not consider Ebay. There are loads of new dresses on there where sellers have bought a dress for an event and then not used the garment. Also look at the outlet stores for a particular brand McArthur Glen or of course Bicester Designer Village which is only an hour away from Southampton. Balticdream Posted November 10, 2019 Author #28 Share Posted November 10, 2019 In case anyone's still interested, I found a lovely dress in Hobbs (in London as it happens, as I had to be there for something else). Thanks to all for advice.

Thanks to all for advice. Pleased you got sorted i was just going to add that I got a beautiful Jasper Conran dress in my local charity shop for £12 it retailed well over £100 and still had original spare sequins attached in a little plastic bag on the inside hem so I suspect it had never been worn. I also got a lovely dress for £6 that I wore to 3 different weddings we went to. So worth a look. Have a great cruise.
