parking at port of tyne and weir

Does anyone know of  other parking facilities near the port. ?Premier Inn, whether you can leave car there if booked hotel overnight

You can leave your car at Premier Inn if you stay there overnight, they ask you to make a donation to their charity.  However we considered this and were concerned if the car was stolen no one would notice. Instead we booked with Just booking.com and parked on someone's drive nearby. It worked really well and we would do this again.

Marella offer parking at the International Passenger Terminal Tyne as an optional extra from £10 per day.

Have used this parking in the past was just wondering if there was alternatives.
