Vancouver Hotel for Disembarkation Day 8 am - 8 pm

Our upcoming cruise returns to Vancouver, BC, at 7 am and our flight home is 11 pm, so we are looking for a hotel for 8 am - 8 pm if such a thing exists, as a home base as we tour Vancouver.

That may be what YOU want to do.  It makes little sense to go all the way out to the airport then come back downtown if your ultimate goal is touring the city or grabbing some other kind of tour.  In my case - I spent 7 hours on a tour, and had to meet the tour at the cruise terminal by 9:30 AM, that would be difficult if going out to the airport to grab a room to stash my bags in.

 

Now, for someone with mobility issues they may want to do things different from what I did - I walked around the corner from the cruise terminal and took the train to the airport at 6:30 PM, while wrangling my 29" suitcase...

What kind of tour did you take? We are in a similar predicament. I’m considering renting a car for the day.
