Bagspacked28 Posted May 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2019 Has anyone tried the Cunard private label wines? We typically spend more than that on a bottle of wine, so just curious. Thanks.
Underwatr Posted May 24, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2019 They're not bad for the price (relative to the other wines in the cellar) and at about 2x the corkage for anything you'd carry on not a bad deal. Usually I buy red wines with a street price about the same as the onboard price for the Cunard wines but I'm going to have too much OBC at Christmas so I might just buy the Cunard wines. tv24 Posted May 24, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2019 Often our TA gives us a gift of a bottle of wine and the wine server at dinner presents the wine as a choice among the Cunard labeled-wines (red or white). They are always drinkable, OK, but nothing special, so don't pay too much.
naturelovergirl Posted May 24, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2019 I wondered about this as well. Thanks for asking!
Fairgarth Posted May 24, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2019 We enjoyed #133, Grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre at $34.00 (Pays d'Oc) . It was better than some of the more expensive wines we tried and therefore good value.
