Cabanas

Interesting to read that the cabanas on Nautica were NOT being used.

 

Was this due to inclement weather or just of no real value.......comments please as I have reserved one for July.

I don't think most people know the cabana are there. On the last cruise it was either to cold or to hot. It does not appear that any breeze could get into the cabanas.

During the good weather sea days on our Dec 22 cruise on Nautica, it appeared that just about every chaise lounge on the pool deck was occupied. There are aluminum frame chaise lounges on deck 11 as well, and many of them were occupied. The cabanas sat empty.

 

I did not see any advertising telling what one needed to do to reserve a cabana. But there was a chain across the entrance to each cabana indicating that they needed to be reserved.

Our cruise was not neary full so there was lots of deck space. That might also explain why the cabanas were not being used.
