brendapap Posted June 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2019 Is there a public beach next to the hotel? If so what is the name of it. Would like to swim a little and check out casino too. Any info would be great
mjkacmom Posted June 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2019 Take a taxi to cabbage beach, I think $4 pp. At Atlantis you can go the the casino or marina village without a wristband.
LBumb Posted June 8, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2019 What does wristband get you and is it worth it
mjkacmom Posted June 8, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 8, 2019 There are two wristbands that give you access to the beach, one for access to the water park/pools also. That one is $100+ pp, it was worth it to my family because we used the water park/pools/beach/aquarium. I’m not sure how much the beach one is, $75? I don’t think it’s worth it just to use the same beach as the free one next door.
cruiseapril Posted June 8, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2019 There were no restrooms at Cabbage Beach itself. Is that still the case?
nerds2go Posted June 8, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 8, 2019 (edited) So, is Cabbage Beach part of or next to Atlantis? Edited June 8, 2019 by nerds2go
mjkacmom Posted June 8, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 8, 2019 No restrooms, Atlantis is on cabbage beach, a part of cabbage beach is in front of Atlantis.

So are the pushy vendors allowed in the Atlantis part of cabbage beach? I am assuming the Atlantis part of cabbage beach has chairs and access to restrooms, whereas the "free" cabbage beach does not? My main concern really is comfort, and NO restrooms is a deal breaker for me. Thanks.

When we had a daypass to RIU next door to Atlantis, we dealt with vendors.

I was looking into the free beach, but no bathroom with a 6 year old sounds like a nightmare
Nitnoi Posted July 13, 2019 #11 Share Posted July 13, 2019 (edited) when we got the day pass to atlantis, it included the water park and loungers if you have never been and enjoy the water, its a lot of fun Edited July 13, 2019 by Nitnoi left out a word
