Rare John Bull Posted June 17, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 17, 2019 It'll depend on your ages & other circumstances - just like some motor insurance companies are best for young drivers / older drivers / different post-codes etc You & mum will probably get better value from different insurers. I used /www.insureandgo.com good value until I hit 65, then apparently I was a big liability and I switched. Now I get annual world cover from Nationwide, but you need to be a member. BTW ....... You can insure for a single trip or get an annual insurance. Some travel policies exclude cruising, some are just for cruising. Insurance offered by cruise lines tend to be poor value Whatever travel insurance you get, you should have done it immediately when you booked - unlike in the US your deposit is forfeit as soon as you hand it over and a major part of the cover is for if you have to cancel.
