Footloose and Elements Reservations?

I am going on Joy in September. How critical is it to make reservations, once on board, to the Footloose and Elements shows. It is feasable to just show up or is it usually filled up?

Just depends on the passengers. 

 

Here’s the math

 

Each show preforms 4 times. 

The theater holds 800. 

4x800=3600 seats

4300 guests on the ship.  

Like the titanic, there are not enough seats. 

 

If you go standby, they let you in 10 min before show time and you get what ever seats no one else wanted until the tester is full. 

 

Reservations opened 120 days prior to cruise.

Thanks @BirdTravels, but it's 72 days out and the NCL site says to book on-board for both shows. Of course, my edocs appeared and then disappeared a few weeks ago so perhaps it's just the messed up NCL website.
