The glue sniffers review-no pictures yet

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I saw some of you were asking, so I thought I would post my familie's thoughts on their cruise.

I was hoping they would send some pictures. But they just returned yesterday and haven't gotten to it yet.

I do have some old pictures of them from Christenings and such in my signature line, but none from their cruise yet. I also have some from our Enchantment cruise.

It rained/poured every single day except for one, which was Cozumel. The tendering in Cozumel was absolutely HORRIBLE. It was very disorganized, took over 1 1/2 hours, and was extremely rocky. Apparently there were a lot of unhappy people. Luckily they got to go straight to their excursion which was "Passion Island". They said that it was one of the best excursions they have ever been on and highly recommend it! It was an all-inclusive alcohol and food beach. They said that there were only about 40 people there and it was fantastic.

They liked their rooms. My sister and her husband's balcony didn't drain though so they had standing water from the rain all week. Their tablemates were also consistently 30 minutes late to dinner every night.

My Mom said that the slots in the casinos were not very "loose". She was disappointed in the "odds". Whatever that means. I'm not a casino player.

They thought the food was better than average (but still not Celebrity).

They really weren't into the shows because they were mostly magicians, jugglers, and variety type. They like more broadway style shows.

Overall, they rated the cruise 7 out of 10 stars. They said that Splendour is due for a little updating (I think it is coming up on the list). The service was absolutely fantastic. They like Holland and Celebrity a little better in general, but thought RCI was a nice cruise line.

Here's an interesting story! There was some sort of group on the cruise. While they were in one of the ports 2 women got drunk and got in a fight. I guess they started threatening each other. RCI refused to allow them to board the ship and said that they would fly them back home from that port instead because they didn't want to compromise the safety of their passengers. I guess that with all that's been going on they aren't going to put up with anything. Good for RCI!

this was enchantment of the seas? i am sorry to hear you didn't like it if this the ship you are talking about. we are thinking of booking on her in december.

No, I think it read Splendor of the Seas.

That's too funny about the fighting ladies! Sorry it rained on them, but hey, they were on a cruise anyway. I'd much rather be on a cruise in the rain than at home in the rain.
