I got the email too but on careful inspection it stated that pick up was Friday 17 Dec but the 17th is a Tuesday.

 

I had to email the sender to get the correct info for us its Tuesday 17th.

 

PLEASE CHECK YOUR PAPER WORK.

 

Now where did I put that shooe horn 🙂

Our pick up in the US is 12/27, which is a Friday.  They probably changed the date but forgot to change the day on your message.

Apparently, SS did not send out the survey for the door plaque and business cards to all passengers.  Our TA caught the error and DW completed it yesterday.  Down to only 46 days with luggage pickup in 36.

Good catch by your TA DCC!  Oh, the joy of packing!  🙂  You must have it down to a science at this point!

From SS Guest Relations today - 

 

The luggage tag shipment packages for US World Cruise guests will begin to ship next week via FedEx priority overnight service.

The fun begins as the doc's for the luggage arrives on Tuesday 10th and the pick up is in 7 days time. 

 

 

Hope I will have muscles strong enough to close the lid 🙂

We are lucky in the US as luggage pickup is not until the 27th.

We received the 2020 WC silver box today.

We too got a large silver box with the usual labels and a very thick book with details of each port and tours;

 

Luggage was spirited away by the ever efficient Michael from FEDEX and they are now en route to Fort  Lauderdale

 

 

We also received a Christmas present for Silversea in the shape of six white roses and some green foliage. Compared to last years present the flowers are very poor in quality and I have had more luck with the ones from my garden.

The journey begins as FEDEX picked up our luggage a few minutes ago.  Only 10 days till we board!

Thank you all especially Mysty for the Bon Voyage messages. We are very lucky to be on this World Cruise and join with some of most interesting and nice people we have ever met because this will be ( for reasons I will not go into) our final cruise ever .
