RSLeesburg Posted July 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2019 We are sailing on RCI Serenade of the Seas over Christmas in Dec. This is only our second cruise out of Port Everglades. Last time we drove down from WPB and parked in the surface lot across the street from the terminal. When we arrived at the port, the parking lot was fairly empty but when we returned it was completely packed. This was when they had two Oasis class ships running every Sat/Sun, and we left on Sat (IIRC). But this upcoming cruise, we go out on Monday, and there are three or four other RCI ships leaving before us in the week - so I am wondering if the parking lot will be full? Same with the ramp garage. Has anyone ever experienced these being completely full when you arrived at the port? I know everyone recommends Park n Go, but we like the convenience of walking off the ship and walking to our car. But I would hate to arrive and find no place to park 🙂 Just wondering if this is a real concern, or not to worry.
foflocruiser Posted July 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2019 If you are sailing from Terminal 18, there are two surface lots. Ample parking for Christmas sailings. *Thanksgiving is a different story - heavier drive up.
