Cabin TBA???

You can call and book an available cabin but you will have to pay the difference in cruise fare.  We booked this cruise at a time when TBA cabins were all that was available and I am happy with the cruise fare so I am not going to pay to choose one of the cabins that have come open to pick.  I feel sure we will know our cabin two to three weeks before.  We did this once before and got a great cabin.

are you saying if I call Carnival and say I want a balcony cabin of my choosing they will say we only have guaranteed cabins and turn down my $2000? I find this hard to believe.

If all balconies are sold out, which balcony cabins do you intend to choose from? 

 

If they are only selling guarantees, it's because they expect some people currently in those cabins to cancel or take an upsell offer in the future, freeing up a balcony for you.
