OBC question please

When booking excursions, and you have OBC, does the Viking system automatically deduct from your OBC or do you have a choice how to pay for them, as in CC instead?  If it automatically deducts from your OBC, and you choose to cancel an excursion, how is that credited back to you - OBC again? 

I did send a message to Tellus and  while I sincerely appreciate that they left me a  Vmail, it did not answer this piece of my question? 

We are booking excursions on Tuesday and tomorrow is not available to me very easily to reconnect with Viking so if anyone has any experience with this I would appreciate your input. Thank you

They deducted our OBC automatically (no option) when we booked excursions.
Can't answer your cancellation question, as the only excursion we canceled, we did so once onboard, and the credit was applied to our shipboard account, effectively paying for spa treatments and gratuities.

Thank you just_dont. Sounds like they did re-credit back to you your canceled excursion booked with OBC with OBC to use while onboard?  If so that is what I would be good with.
