Horseback riding

My mom saw an ad for 'Provo Ponies' and wanted to check them out for our stop at Grand Turk. I told her that unfortunately they were located in Providenciales and not anywhere near the cruise port. So I started searching to see if anything was available for GT and came across 2 companies who do horseback riding: Chukka and Sunset Rides and Tours. Chukka only offers their tours when booked through the ship and unfortunately are not available (or already sold out) for our cruise. I'm still waiting to hear back from Sunset, but it looks like they can be booked independently. Has anyone gone riding with either company and can give a review? Most reviews I found online were not very recent. TIA!

I never heard back from anyone. We ended up doing a stingray excursion to Gibbs Cay that we booked through the cruise line - had a great time

I would say that Chukka  via the ship is probably your best bet if you want to do this.  John at Sunset Rides seems to be a on or off in consistence of returning emails or even doing tours.
