Hello Lisa thank you for joining Cruise Critic.

The addition of the IV on E class ships has been one of the most hotly debated topics on cruise critic over the last few months with some members liking them and others disliking them.

Edge and Apex do not give aqua class or concierge class passengers the opportunity to sail with a traditional balcony. Will the third, fourth or fifth E class ship which are rumoured to be a little larger have some of these rooms with a traditional balcony? Some feel the passenger can feel more connected to the sea as they feel the sea breeze swirl around them and have the feeling of being outside. Several forum members have described the infinite verandah as being an ocean view room with a window that opens and have been put off booking E class ships as a result. Will Celebrity cater for these passenger with these new ships? Or will all five E class ships have IV cabins only?

Thanks in advance.

Hello!
On the Edge-series ships, there are a many varieties of staterooms to consider based on your preference. There are regular verandas as well as Infinite Verandas on-board. https://www.celebritycruises.com/edge/accommodations/verandas/

Thank you and have a great rest of your day!
