dogchopper Posted July 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2019 A few years back we stopped at Roatan (via carnival) and we just walked to the chair lift and paid 5 bucks a person to ride it to the beach. Can you still do this? All I see on carnivals website are 65 and 69 dollar excursions that include a chair, umbrella and floaties.. I don't want that. I just a ride over there because I'm lazy and it's hot.
Bahbert Posted July 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2019 According to this site, all-day passes to the chair lift are now $14 per adult and $8 per child 4-12. Presumably you can still walk up and buy a ticket the day you arrive.

I think you need to stop at the ship's shore excursion desk first. $5 was an okay price. $14 way over priced, unless you have mobile issues and are planning on going back and forth a lot. I kinda agree with you. 14 bucks is a bit much. And 65 for 2 people gets you chairs, a clamshell and a floaties. Seems high to me
aknguyen Posted July 30, 2019 #6 Share Posted July 30, 2019 Yes, it's $14 a person and yes, you walk up and pay. My family did this in June.
