Cancellation of March 15,2020 cruise of New Statendam.

Does anyone know why HAL has cancelled this cruise? When I called them they were very unforthcoming about the reason. I had booked 9 people (4 staterooms with verandahs) for March15. I received an email this morning that my cruise had been cancelled and they offered some non-attractive and not convenient alternatives. Needless to say I am VERY unhappy about the situation and with HAL!!! I feel this is very poor public relations!!! I was about to book my flights today; so glad I did not do so since the flights would all need to be changed.

Can anyone shed some light on this situation?

We were booked on this cruise. I called Holland America yesterday and was told that it has been chartered.

We have changed to the Nieuw Amsterdam March 14th sailing.

It was chartered by the multilevel marketing company, LuLaRoe.
