michellevmp Posted August 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2019 I am planning a cruise for our fifth anniversary. There will be four of us: me, my hubby, my mom and my daughter. We have decided to have two balcony rooms under the B2 category. The trip will be during Christmas 2019, and the ship is Divina. Right now the available room next to each other are 13099 & 13101. Are they good? Any noises from Deck 14, and normal balcony size? In general, what are the concerns regarding B2 rooms on this ship? Do all B2 rooms have the same size, especially the balcony size? We have cruised before, but this will be my mother's first one. So I want her to be happy with it, in particular, it would be great to have a larger balcony. We do enjoy the lovely balcony during our past HAL trip in room VB4168 🙂 Thanks, Michelle
Rare Essiesmom Posted August 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2019 Those are standard balcony cabins, standard size balcony. Did you intend to get connecting cabins? With a connecting door between? If you are looking for sun on your balcony, you will not have it as there is a very wide overhang from deck 14. EM Thanks for the reply! Not necessary to have a connecting door, as the divider on balcony can be opened as long as they are adjacent, am I right? Will there be more sunshine if I go one Deck below? Are all the balcony the same size except the aft ones?
