ssbeard1 Posted August 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2019 What are recommendations for a day pass for a 5 and 6 year old. We have done Junkanoo beach in the past and they enjoyed that. It doesn’t have to be all-inclusive as we don’t drink alcohol and the kids are very light eaters. Wanting a place with a good pool and beach. Rare CruisinCrow Posted August 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2019 I think Melia and British Colonial Hilton are the only options for children. Melia would have a better beach and pools but it's gotten really pricey.
ssbeard1 Posted August 27, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted August 27, 2019 Thanks. Yes, kinda pricey for the Melia. I’ll check the Hilton.
scubagirrl Posted August 27, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2019 Depends on whether of not your kids are ok with just a beach day or if they need more. Hilton is a small, quiet business hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. It's not a resort with kid's club or activities. There are a few toys to be shared. This is a property where most are relaxing, sunning or reading. Melia has more to offer is general. Sprawling beach, multiple pools and non-motorized sports and snorkeling. I love the Hilton as an adult retreat, but my grands would be bored.
