Wine Purchase near San Diego Port?

Where might I purchase a bottle of wine near the San Diego port. Thanks.

How good of wine, how close?

 

The Rite Aid in Little Italy has a surprisingly good selection. It is maybe a half mile from the cruise port. There are also some Italian markets in Little Italy with good wines. Ralph's Supermarket is about a mile. The best wine store in San Diego, the Wine Bank is in the Gaslamp Quarter, a little over a mile away.

I use Rite Aid as it is very close to the pier (or our hotel) and I am not a knowledgeable wine drinker.

Its about 4-5 blocks from the pier - 10 minute walk.  On Ash Street, past the railroad tracks.
