Quick question..I just changed seats on 2 of my flights. I did not recieve anything in my email with new seat assignmnets but reservation is showing with new seats. Do I need new etickets? Are they going to email me some new ones??? Do I just sit in enw seats when I board? I have never flown Delta so I am unsure how this works with them.

If you plan to check luggage, you will be issued your boarding passes with your seat assignments at that time. Or you can print out boarding passes from the Delta website within 24 hours of your flight.

Delta doesn't send an updated email when you change your seat selection. Just make note of it on your own and when you check in either online or at the airport kiosk or agent desk, your boarding pass should reflect the 'new' seat #.

Enjoy the evening!

Hi there, i have a lot of experience with DL out of Logan. You will not receive new etickets. when you get to logan or wherever, just go to the self service kiosk and check in there. you can check your bags there too. Avoids waiting in line. Your boarding passes will print, then you will head through security and board when you are called. Be careful of AM flights out of LOGAN.security can be a nightmare

Yes even if you're checking luggage, you can checkin online and print your boarding passes.

I'll add just one thing to the above- keep checking your seats. On our next scheduled Delta flight there is one leg that does not have the best seating assignment and I check on it every day, sometimes twice a day. Eventually someone might cancel and I can grab some better seats.

By better seats I mean closer to the front on that flight because it connects in Atlanta and time between flights is short; don't need any delays.

Hi imlulu. providence is so realxed compared to Logan....you are lucky!!!! anyway yes you can check in online, print your boarding passes at home. When you get to the airport check your bags in at curbside or inside.

Hey Chris that is what I did last night. I moved up and am going to keep checking. I have long layovers so am not worried about that. However we were sitting way in the back on our last leg into our home airport. I moved us up all the way to the 15/16 row. I am going to keep checking. I figure the closer to the front the better.

Cool, besides maybe being in a better position it's a good way to kill time. Watch especially close for those seats in the middle of the plane by the emergency exit. They're almost always gone but offer a ton more legroom!
