Which Beach is best for?

Hi,

We are in Curacao on Dec 23rd - Looking for a decent beach, I require a beach with a bar for a snack and also a must is a Sun lounger with an umbrella (I like the shade).

We love to swim but not too bothered with Snorkelling (Done it a lot).

We arrive 0800 and depart 1700, a beach not so packed would be ideal.

Looking to get a rough idea of Sun lounger cost and Taxi cost from the cruise port.

thanks

Rob

Rob on a cruise ship day, our beaches are usually crowded (especially with a larger ship).

With that being said, for what you are looking for which sounds like a calmer water beach, take a look at Mambo beach or Blue Bay.

Perhaps a day pass at Avila, Santa Barbara Resort or even the Renaissance hotel.

Here are the taxi rates.

The  Avila Looks to be good value, what would be the rough cost of a taxi from Port?

thanks

anyone been to Pirates Cove next to the Hilton property....

Do you mean Pirate's Bay beach? Yes, it's a smaller beach, with a bar and restaurant.

There is an entrance fee and a fee to use the chairs.

You cannot bring in any food or beverages other than water and chips.
