Luggage to ship from Alaska RR if inside GTY

Can anyone tell me the process for the luggage actually getting to the correct cabin if you come via Alaska RR to Seward and they take the luggage directly to the ship for you and you only have the guarantee inside cabin luggage tag and your last name which is common?

The cruise line reps are at the Anchorage depot and they take your luggage.  When we were there in August they had a ship manifest and luggage tags for those that didn't know their cabin number or needed luggage tags
