+1. Check with your line, but in my experience cruiselines LOVE folks who self-disembark as that means less work for their staff!!! NB: you MUST be able to move your luggage with just one hand in Vancouver, otherwise you will not be allowed to use the escalators - and the queue for the far-more-limited elevators gets long quickly, so waiting for that could end up taking longer than being in the first group of 'my bags have been removed for me' people instead...
