SF Posted January 31, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2006 Do they have taxi's that will hold five people? If not, is there a better way to get to Vigeland Park as our time is limited? How far from the dock is it and approx. how much would a taxi cost? Any help answering these questions would be appreciated. Thanks.
Artemis Posted January 31, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2006 May I suggest you post your question on the Baltics forum--most posters there are taking cruises that hit Oslo. I recall seeing taxis, but don't have a picture in my mind of vehicles large enough to hold five (plus the driver, I assume?). That would require a mini-van or similar, I'd think. You might need to schedule that transfer in advance to avoid wasting precious port day time. The park is outside of the town centre. To maximize your day, you might consider pre-arranging a private driver or tour--folks can recommend on the Baltics board. Of course, like most things in the Euro ports, Vigeland is accessible via public transportation. Did you see their website?
