We have never been to New Orleans, can anyone tell me about the area around this hotel, and is it really an OK walk from their to the cruise terminal?  THANKS!

YES it is a very short walk to the terminal

Saint Greg, you had gone up the stairs at the end of your video, we wouldn't go there to get onto the ship correct?

Correct. I was just returning through the mall. The port entrance is to the right where the shuttles are parked.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times and we really like it. It's a safe area to walk in.
