desertone61 Posted February 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Just called Princess cruises asking about any changes of ports, as I have read on cruisecritic and cruisemates about Cayman being eliminated and Playa Del Carmen added. They admit some past ships, and current ones are being diverted but tell me that the April 1 sailing has not. Sure does make it kinda difficult in knowing what to do as far as excursions go????? Anyone have any more imput? Incidentally, this is a family reunion that includes my three sons and wifes.
chrysalis Posted February 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2006 I guess you are just going to have to decide who to believe...Princess, themselves or someone from CruiseCritic:confused:
Harvsgirl Posted February 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2006 We are sailing on 2/11. I just received this today. My parents also got a call concerning this from their TA. "Good Morning Mrs. Perry, You are absolutely correct. They have done a permanent schedule change, eliminating Grand Cayman for the remainder of the season. Our customer service department is contacting the affected passengers. I do not know if they attempted to contact you yet. To compensate for the change they have applied an additional $75.00 per person shipboard credit. I will be available all day if you have any additional questions. If I do not talk to you before your trip, then I wish you a great cruise!" Hope this is of some help to you. Kim
susyls Posted February 1, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2006 I am assuming the change at this point. Planning an ATV tour instead of rays and sharks. Oh well, it's all good. Have you joined us on the roll call list for this cruise? I know we've added a few in the past few days.
