Where do you recommend to stay in Miami the night before the cruise?

:rolleyes: I posted this yesterday, but it's not there anymore. We're flying into Miami on the Sat. aft/evening , and are wondering if anyone can suggest a nice hotel for us to stay at prior to boarding the Jewel March 19/06? Thanks for your help.

Your post was probably moved to the hotels board here. There are a lot of recommendations on that board. I am going this Friday and staying at the Four Ambassadors Hotel suites it is pretty close to the pier area, short cab ride. But as I say lots of suggestions on the hotels section.

We have stayed at other Embassy Suites around the country and have always been happy. I made reservations at their web-site for $159.99; a AAA rate. They are located at the Miami Airport and have free cocktails and free cook-to-order breakfast. I figured we catch a cab to the cruise port. If anyone knows anything I don't about this hotel, please let me know.
