My husband and I have a back to back cruises on QM2 this spring- 4 nights up and down the English Channel and then a 14 night transatlantic. We have 2 cruise booking numbers but we are in the same stateroom for both cruises. So will we need to actually get off the ship in Southampton at the end of the 4 nights and wait in the embarkation lounge to get back on board or can we stay on the ship? We want to stay on if possible- we have done all the sightseeing around and in Southampton that we want to do and have no desire to shop so can anyone please let me know what to expect- many thanks

Hia.
As ExLondoner has commented, you should be fine. Just check immigration.
Have you been to Winchester???
Well worth a visit. Magnificent cathedral, and a lovely city. Very walkable.
15 mins on the train from Southampton Central. Return fare £7.40.
Regards,

Mr. H.
