We are booked on the 2/14/20 Costa Luminosa cruise with a departure of 11 PM.  Since we have relatives in Fort Lauderdale, we thought we could drive down there that morning, visit with relatives for most of the day, then, go check in for the cruise.  Is this doable?   Thanks

Checkin opens around 2 PM. Muster drill is usually around 8.30 PM, between MDR sittings. They do late drills for people with delayed flights, but US CBP requires a manifest be submitted before sailing, expect checkin cutoff no later then 9.30 PM.
