Christmas shopping pre and post cruise

Hi,

 

Just booked a last minute cruise Dec. 1-8 on NCL Joy.  Arriving 10:00 am the day before sailing, and leaving 7:45 pm on the 8th.  Soooo was thinking I should try to get in some Christmas shopping.  Any suggestions on where to book the hotel the night before, and what we can do with bags etc for all those hours until our flight?  I would do some kind of excursion if I got my shopping in pre-cruise, but I don't want to sit on a bus and look at the LA sights.  Or, I could Christmas shop after the cruise if I have somewhere to store my bags.  Any ideas?

Maybe the Torrance Marriott next to the Del Amo Fashion Center. it is one of the largest malls in the U.S.
