jess98ac Posted February 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2006 I just was reading about the wine and dine. DH and I will be on the AOS in September and are interested in this package. We're on a 7 day cruise and will definitely drink a bottle with dinner every night. We were just wondering if we should do the 10 bottle package for those days that we might want wine before/after dinner, too. Would we be able to get it in our room? If not, could we just "pop" into any bar and order a bottle to go back to our room while we're getting dressed for dinner? Thanks!
Merion_Mom Posted February 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2006 HHmmm...........that's a really interesting question. I know that you could ask for it in the dining room, and then take it back with you to your cabin...

suzeyQ Posted February 3, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2006 I think I read somewhere that you can, but I don't remember where. I'll look for it but hopefully someone can confirm in the meantime.

EggDropErin Posted February 3, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 3, 2006 Royal Caribbean's Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Wine & Dine packages enable your clients to purchase a predetermined number of wines from our special selection and save up to 25% off normal wine list pricing. For example, if they choose a 5-bottle package, they will receive 5 bottles of wine that can be consumed at any time. IMO, that means you should be able to get the wine at any time. I could be misinterpreting it, but well, I tried.
zotzer Posted February 3, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 3, 2006 Room service will bring it. It takes a while, because when you buy "Wine and Dine" you get a little card that you have to keep with you when you are going to order wine. The room service attendant has to come pick it up, go to the wine people, get it, bring it back....etc... One night at dinner, I had forgotten my little card (it was formal night, and I had switched purses without moving the card). Our assistant waitress got my wine anyway (she had to 'sign for it' personally on the promise that I would bring the card the next night). I had fully planned to waltz back to my room and get it, but RCI's great service spared me. If you are on Radiance, give Krista a big hug! :) Tracy
