Confused

I am booked on the "Highlights of the Frozen Continent"  Fridtjof Nansen 12 Days from December 7-17, 2020.

I have gone over and over the itinerary.  I have counted out the days on my fingers and on paper.

Even if I count December 7 and December 17 (not nights) I still only come up with 11 days (10 nights).

Can anyone explain how Hurtigruten gets 12 days from the 7th thru the 17th.

I have emailed Hurtigruten and asked for a dated itinerary but so far crickets.  When I do hear from them I will report back.  But in the meantime, if anyone can figure this out, please post.

 

• Day 1 Buenos Aires
• Day 2 Buenos Aires/Ushuaia - Flight & Embarkation
• Day 3-4 Drake Passage
• Day 5-9 Antarctica
• Day 10-11 Drake Passage
• Day 12 Ushuaia/Buenos Aires - Disembarkation & Flight

I just pushed the "SUBMIT" button and Hurtigruten called me back.

We actually disembark on 12/18.  The new passengers, whose expedition begins on 12/17 at a hotel in Buenos Aires, will embark on 12/18.

It was actually so simple.
