Kennsington Forum Hotel, London

We stayed there last May for our Constellation cruise. There were no problems. It was clean, restaurant was good, convenient for local transportation....merely walk out the front door and about 1/4 of a block to the corner for the double decker bus. Walking distance to many other restaurants. We would not hesitate to recommend it.

Can anyone tell me about the Holiday Inn Kennsington Forum Hotel in London? It is the least expensive of the four London hotels that Celebrity offers as part of a pre-cruise package for Constellation's Baltic Cruise.

We stayed there for one night prior to our TA last year in order to get the transfers to the pier. Hotel was fine but our room was one of the smallest I have ever stayed in and made our ship's stateroom look enormous.:)

We also stayed there for 3 nights last year. This was the first time we stayed in a hotel room that was smaller than our cabin. Location is terrific though.
They do have more than just the "Standard" room there. For another $22 a night or so, you can get the "Executive Double". Have never booked any hotel through Celebrity, so you'd have to find out if they're prepared to get you the better room for the extra bucks.

We have never done a hotel thru the cruiseline either. We booked the Kensington Forum thru Priceline on our own. You may want to check around and see if their price is competitive with doing it yourself. Indeed it was the smallest room we've ever had too, but since it was only for one night and we were sightseeing anyway, it really didn't matter to us. We spent the second night in Dover at the Churchill.

hi

We live in the UK and I am considering booking this hotel for 1 night when we visit London next month. It gets positive reviews on Trip advisor. The one thing about London is that most of the standard hotel rooms are on the small side unless you upgrade to an executive room but for a short stay it is in a good location and reasonable price. Try and get a rate that includes breakfast as they tend to charge rip off prices if you pay separately!

Prior to our one night stay at the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum last August we spent three nights at the Marriott Park Lane, using Marriott Reward points. The room was considerably larger and the location was excellent- right across from Hyde Park. Breakfast in the dining room, however, was quite expensive. Then again so was just about everything in London. LOL. We did find a relatively inexpensive Italian restaurant close by the Kensington Forum and a continental breakfast was provided for all cruise passengers staying at the Kensington Forum on the day we departed for the ship. Lobby was spacious and comfortable for our wait for the buses.

Stayed there last year, small rooms but clean and close to everything, tube station is only 2 blocks away but the local double decker bus is the best and most senic way to get arround,an all day pas is only about $4.00. Don't pay extra for the executive room it is the same as the other rooms but has one queen bed with a very uncomfortable sofa bed. I used priceline and got it for $80.00 per night. Enoy your stay:) :) :)
