RCL Quantum tender in or dock?

We are traveling to Phuket the first week in April, does RCL's Quantum of the Seas tender into port or does it dock in and where is the dock located? Thanks for all your help.

No dock at Phuket, so she will almost certainly tender in Patong Bay. If you put 7°53'10.05"N, 98°17'20.95"E into Google Earth you can see the two piers.

The dock for Phuket is the Deep Sea Harbour Port located on the East coast not far out of Phuket town. Depending on the season cruise ships may dock here or alternatively anchor in Patong Bay on the West coast and tender passengers ashore. Your cruise company should be able to tell you which location your ship will be using.
