Carnival Magic - Power Snorkelling Excursion

Has anyone recently done the power snorkelling excursion through Carnival Cruise lines? My husband and I will be going in February and have been reading reviews about the other snorkel excursions that mention large crowds, being rushed, and the marine life not being what they hoped it would. We wondered if anyone had a positive experience with this one? We were considering doing it in Amber Cove if people did not have good experiences with it in Grand Turk.

Any snorkeling excursion off the ship in GT is going to be crowded.  Especially if you're on a larger ship. That said, power snorkeling requires relatively expensive extra equipment, so excursion would be limited to the number of power snorkel machines available.  You could however in in similar area as others.

Oasis Divers is the vendor for these excursions. I don't see any power snorkeling on their website, but you can contact them and ask roughly the size of the group.
