Shawnino Posted January 23, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2020 Is this an always-tender port or a sometimes-tender port? We are in on Oceania Marina (O class, 1250 pax). Thanks S
lolawpb Posted February 26, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2020 (edited) Your question somehow popped up in the middle of a search for Great Britain but I thought I would answer since no one replied. I do not remember any place for cruise ships to dock there. It is a fairly small port with very active tidal changes. There are commercial ferries that dock but we tendered from the Silver Spirit when we were there last summer and were the only ship there at the time so I would say it is always a tender port. GastroGnome Posted February 27, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2020 The port scruise scheduler shows that no vessel over 738' can dock betwen April and October becuase of tidal restrictions. The Marina is 782'. So although smaller cruise lines can dock in St Malo it doesn't look like you are going to be able to I'm afarid. but you can check the deifinitive list fromt he full schedule here https://www.cruisetimetables.com/cruises-to-st-malo-france.html
