Cruise deposits

I think most of the cruise lines have this policy. Many people book cruises well in advance and the deposit holds their booking for them. Since prices can fluctuate, this gives people a chance to try for a lower price if the rates go down. 90 days is about right.

Whenever you book a cruise, whether it is through a land office TA, internet, directly with the cruise line, there will always be a deposit. You will get a confirmation, outlining the final payment date. If you cancel before that date, the deposit is usually fully refundable. There are a few TA's out there who charge a cancellation fee, however, so be careful to read your contract before giving a deposit.
