Miami Airport Hotel to Port Everglades

Staying at a MIA airport hotel and need transportation the following day to Port Everglades. Do any of the shuttle companies pick up at Miami Airport hotels and drop off at Port Everglades?  Has anyone used Metro Shuttle Service from Miami airport to PE.  I have sent a couple of e-mails to them and it has been more than a week and no response.  Thanks for any advice.

QLS and Go Airport Shuttles may service MIA and nearby hotels. There was a recent report that Super Shuttle was still operating from MIA.

 

Or use UberX or Lyft for about $35-40 for the car. More than 3 passengers and standard bags you will need UberXL for closer to $75. A taxi on the same runs will also be about $75+

 

If you are not in a hurry and can handle your own bags you can catch the Tri-Rail train for about $5 each from MIA to near FLL; from there you are a $15 taxi ride from PE.

So, checked luggage size is allowed on the tri-rail?
