I booked my January 2021 cruise on the Summit in February 2019 during the Sail Beyond and Go Better Beverage promotions. I booked solo. Determined earlier this week it was time to add my new SO. I called yesterday to confirm the price difference would simply be his "taxes, fees and port expenses". Today I called to actually add him. It took less than 10 minutes and I received the confirmation e-mail while on the phone with Danielle. I also wanted to note that while the prepaid gratuities and beverage package are noted under Guest 1, that I was promised that the "back end team" would update in a few days all & that promotions are applied to the first two guests. Will update one way or the other but I'm not too worried! My experiences with Celebrity thus far have been outstanding! As soon as I started putting the plans together, I decided I'm looking forward to sailing solo so I'm hoping to get the extra person taxes and fees removed for an upcoming trip.
