Last Ship To Arrive

We'll be the last of 6 ships to dock in Georgetown for our port day! We were planning on just taking a taxi to Seven Mile Beach and renting chairs and an umbrella for the day.  Do we have any chance, or will the vendors probably be sold out? Any options to reserve in advance? Thanks in advance.

Most spots along SMB have lots of chairs, but there’s no way of predicting which section of beach your fellow cruisers will choose to go to, so it’s hard to tell.  If it was me, I’d try Royal Palms first, since Coral Beach is right next door, and one of the two of them should have chairs left by the time you get there.  Those two spots are usually less crowded than Public Beach/Calico Jacks, in part because RP charges a $2pp admission fee and has an adults-only pool which can be a problem for families, and CB is very new.  RP does have beach cabanas you can reserve ahead of time if you’re worried.

You might be the last to arrive but possibly the last to leave as well. That is what happened to us last week and it worked out fine. Just delay your beach time until later in the day. We slept in and weren't stressed about being the first ones out there. By the time we got out to the beach at about 1p, many started heading back to their ships for a 4p departure.
